We are a group of bikers who have decided to take a weekly break from the N1 traffic to get together over a cuppa and a quick brekkie halfway between Pretoria and Joburg (a Halfway Cuppa – get it?).

We are all ardent supporters of the Think Bike Motorcycle Safety and Awareness Campaign, and this coffee stop gives us the perfect opportunity to chat about our mutual passion (among other things – there is no limit to the interesting subjects we dicuss!).

Where does all this happen?

Our venue is Mr Bojangles Restaurant, Corporate Park South, Old Pretoria Road, Midrand. The GPS coordinates are S25 56 53.8 E28 08 28.0. Or if you don't have a GPS receiver, follow these easy directions:

• Take the Olifantsfontein offramp off the N1.
• At the bottom of the offramp, turn right (east).
• At the Old Pretoria Road intersection, turn left (north).
• Go past the petrol station and turn left and left again into Corporate Park South.
